Another $1625 in Effective Value By Another Chase Ink Biz Unlimited!
This is our fourth Chase Ink Biz!
I managed to pull it off again for the fourth time.
I beat the deadline where the promotional offer will drop back to 75,000 Chase UR points after January 18th at 9:00 AM EST.
I got approved for the Chase Business Ink Unlimited!
If you know how to meet $6,000 in 3 months (or $2000 every month for 3 months) then it’s the best card to get for an additional $150 for the same required spending before the promotional offer ended.
That $150 additional can be $187.50 but you will see why later on in this blog post.
We got the fourth ink credit card with the sign-up bonus being 90,000 points ($900 to $1300 at $0.01 cent if redeemed for cash back or $0.0125 cents if redeemed for flights).
(What average people think having a million in points feels and looks like, flying private jets and all)
Firstly, I need to establish the difference between the 2 types of $0 annual fee ink cards, because it can get confusing. Chase Ink Business Preferred and Chase ink Business Premier credit card will NOT be mentioned because the annual fee is NOT $0.
Our goal is to gain the most amount of points without paying extra on fees or anything. So for now, we ignore those.
Also, since there’s 3 players in the house, we have 3 chances to get approved if one of us gets rejected, so this is a great way to hedge our bets and increase our chances of approval during times of promotional offers.
Actually let me be more specific about the order and which player got what:
First card was Chase Ink Business Cash credit card (Player 3)
Second card was Chase Ink Business Cash credit card (Player 1)
Third card was Chase Ink Business Unlimited credit card (Player 1)
Fourth card was Chase Ink Business Unlimited credit card (Player 3)
Besides the different types of benefits which I won’t really get into because my intentions are strictly to gain the sign-up bonuses first.
We must stick to the plan and discipline.
Otherwise, things can get out of control and spiral downwards.
Because remember the time I eliminated $62,761.54 in bad credit card debt?
I definitely won’t be making that mistake again.
After sign-up bonuses have been acquired for each card, I won’t really need to touch most of those cards after the required spending is done.
Let me also remind that these $0 annual fee are fantastic keeps, even after meeting the spending requirement for sign-up bonuses, but most importantly, most business credit cards do NOT add to my 5/24!
Current 5/24 status amongst 3 players:
Me: 3/24
Player 2: 0/24
Player 3: 1/24
This is why taking advantages of higher promotional offers for business credit cards with good timing is crucial.
At this point, being below 5/24 for all 3 players, the future plan is to take advantage of any or all types of business credit cards that won’t add towards the 5/24.
Because remember in my previous post, getting business cards is more imperative than applying for business cards after 5/24.
If anyone is applying for business cards after 5/24, it becomes much more harder to get approved.
Why make your life harder when you could plan to make it easier?
If you wanted to apply for more business cards, you would have no choice but to wait after at least 1 card becomes older than 24 months so that you can be 4/24 instead of 5/24.
Therefore, your time will be wasted while waiting and you’ll miss opportunities that will fly by like this 90,000 sign-up bonus for the Chase Ink Business Unlimited and Ink Business Cash.
So I’m currently working on the spending requirements for player 3’s Chase Ink Business Unlimited credit card.
But assuming I meet the required spending of $6,000 in 3 months, the points will come in like this:
Player 3 receives 90,000 points.
Player 1 received 40,000 via referral to Player 3’s approval.
Total earned between both players: 90,000 + 40,000 = 130,000 points.
If these points were to be redeem at $0.01 cent for cash back then it would be simply $1300 USD in redemption.
But I don’t plan to redeem these points for cash back since there’s no need. I would rather save them for flights and sometimes hotels (if needed) for a better redemption value.
If the points were redeemed for flights through Chase portal, then I’d be redeeming for an additional 25% more through the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card.
Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card holders get a 50% boost when redeeming points but the annual fee for that card is $550. Definitely not needed on my end. So I’m happy with the 25% boost only.
So assuming I redeem all 130,000 Chase UR points from this card, that would be valued at $1625! (only for flights and maybe some hotels).
There are obviously many other ways to redeem but to keep it simple and easy, our effective value is $1625 just for $0 in cost fees.
Always paying off the monthly statement balance, I’ll never incur any APR interest fees.
Currently, we are planning a new trip coming soon using ONLY earned points for both flights and hotels.
I’ll blog and create another YouTube video on this upcoming journey just to show how FREE we can get.
